Hi, my dog escaped into my car boot and decided to chew through all of the wiring between the 2 rear lights (ie driver side and offside), I have rewird as much as possible of it, however now when I break, the signal comes on, and when I signal, the break comes on (and very very erratically)

I have obviously crosseda wire somewhere bt I just cant work out where.

Does anyone now what each of the wire colors is? (they areshades of orange with coloured strips, purple with stripes, blue with strips and 3 blacks

The easiest and best way to sort this is to disconnect both rear lights, and using a test light put each circuit on in turn to see which colour does what, and work from there.
Take your time, and the reward will be proper lights again, oh and buy a dog muzzle !!
