RWD being fun is all very well until you stack it on a regular basis
and realise you cant drive it anywhere on a typical wet/icy winter day. Where as 4wd you can drive it all weathers no problem.

really?
i was at a rolling road at powerstation a few years back with cossie dave off here, he had a t4 on...
i think i fell asleep before it came on boost. and when it did it just span the wheels lol. his was an esc cos too lol.
i have driven an esc cos with a t4, simon secs' at allandow circuit.
thats the only car i have driven where you have the throttle pinned to the floor at corner entry, as by the time your round the corner it comes on boost lol.
takes a bit of getting used to!
good fun tho, as when they do come on boost, they go like fuckery

Mine is starting to make boost at about 3500 and at 4500 it really starts to wind up and all hell breaks loose, thats all with a safe map from MSD so i would like to see it better when its had a live mapping session

Dan you need driving lessons, you couldn't win rallys bitd waiting for a turbo to spool up so you need to left foot brake and keep the turbo on boost.
if you know how to do it you would be amazed how much quicker you would be going

this was a fair few years ago tho, but i still dont left foot brake lol
when (if) i get the 3dr going mate, maybe you could give me driving lessons?
i can do left foot braking, its not somthing i would do in someone elses car.
you know when you have seen rally cars and the brakes are glowing its because they are left footing it. i was just going to use a link to a famous rally driver who specialises in teaching left foot braking the finnish scandinavian way only just to find he died last week.

wounder!
so left foot braking, in a fwd car (or works van lol) you keep your foot in in the corners and use the brake to stop understeer no?
with a rwd car does it just keep the boost up and allow the rear end to swing out?

i would say if you have ever tried a racing kart and accelerated and braked going round a corner you know the advantadges.
don't for fucks sake try it and have a bender
LOL
karting i always keep the gas nailed and just stamp on the brakes
they dont like for doing it tho lol
somtimes do it in the van, not really had any moments tho, execept coming down a 1:25 gradient hill from minehead towards barnstaple lol
major brake fade, so much so i very nearly stoved it
