went to see a mk 3 escort 3 door but it is in bad condition on the body quite a lot of rust how much will it cost to redo the whole body so its rust free i might buy it

 

all depends on how bad it is ive just had to do inner and outer rear arch lower part of the rear quater pannel and a few bits round the headlights cost me around Ł50 for the repare pannels and then the time to do it

 

its very bad i mean rust on every pannel will have to take pics when i pick it up

 

If it has rust on every panel I would look to buy a rust free/ better example which may be more cash intially, whether that be a base model 16i or S1 shell, but will save you money in the long run if it's rot free/ free'er than this one.

 

As above. its very hard to bring them back once they've been neglected, or the tim worm has got a hold. even a paint bubble can turn into a hole and inch wide or more. unless its got a very good interior or engine, i'd too look for a better one to start with.
