Hi guys,
I have been asked by a very good friend of mine to see how much he should be looking at selling his ERST for.
Heres the spec:
1989 - with all 90 spec parts applied at no cost
Mercury Grey
2 owners from new,
Full Ford Service History (original bill of sale)
Completely Standard (original exhaust, number plates, tax disc holder)
82,000 miles,
HPI clear,
Cat 1 alarm,
6 months tax
Mot - March 2010
2 new tyres
Hes looking for £3995. Do you think this is a good? I believe it is cheap as the car is mint.
Will try and get pics for you, any help will be much appreciated.
Macca

when you say all 90 spec pieces what do you mean as there are a hell of a lot of differences they did a list in performance ford a bit back i thought it was just the bumpers and spoilers but here is some of the things i can remember off the top of my head
bumper
spoiler
fuel guage and temp guage swapped round
washer bottle
handbrake surround
fuel computer
interior trim
two interior lights instead of one
headling for above
engine block had hole near flywheel for flywheel sensor which wasnt fitted!
there may be more but my memory does not serve me well!
as for car price i paid 2700 for a mint rst then i got my screwdriver sorry corrosion assesment tool out and now it needs inner and outer sills 2 rear chassis legs floorpans at front two rear arches and a battery tray and i kid you not the car did look mint when i bought it and had 12 months mot!! and im not just a numpty saying this im an mot tester and been a mechanic for 12 years its just a lot can be hid with filler and silicone sealer lol! so i strongly suggest having a good look and a poke and prod before buying. and good luck mate if you buy a good un you wont be dissapointed
