stole this from the MLR, anyone else feel a big difference when being a passenger in your car and not the driver?! Always feels much much quicker!
i sodding hate it in the passenger seat of my car. I'm Like
"watch the kerb"
"CORNER!"
"ROUNDABOUT... BRAKE BRAKE!"
i cant help it, i just dont feel safe in my own car as a passenger.

I remember taking my mum out in my old Pulsar, the fastest thing she'd been in up until that point in her life was a 1L Punto, I drove sensibly for a bit, then I gently put my foot down in top gear, came on boost, and she couldn't get her head round what was happening, shitting herself asking what the fuck was going on, I was pissing myself, went from about 60 to 90 and then let her off lightly coz she'd have probably have had a heart attack on me if I'd have properly gave it some beans in lower gears bless her.

Depends who's driving it and whether i trust and like their driving or not!!!
SteveH used to drive mine a lot and I quite liked being chauffered in my own car, especially on hot days with the Tbars out, I'd take me shoes off and put my feet up on the dash, was nice and relaxing! Was also quite fun when he drove it harder than what ive done and got the back end sliding round in a wet field (that was my idea and actually took persuasion!)
If its me mum though, Im just hoping my car is nice for her to drive and doesnt feel rough!

There's only a few people I'd trust to drive quickly in something like that. If you crash a Pulsar it will vaporise. Lol
I took my mum with me to pick up some parts for my old 300bhp S14, she couldnt help but laugh when I first floored it, she says she felt scared but it made her laugh, she kept telling me to put my foot down after that. She is the slowest driver in the world as well.
I remember getting my old man scared enough to start holding on to his seat lol.
As for me being a passenger only my mum is insured to drive my car. Usually I am a wee bit drunk to trust her to drive.

I dont mind a select few people driving my cars but the one person I never let drive my cars was my dad!
I let him drive my series 2 RST when I first bought it, he jumped in with me in the passenger seat, floored in first to the point it was banging it's bollocks off the rev limiter and held it there! 'Whats it doing that for?' he asked, 'Thats the fucking rev limiter you tosser! Change gear for fucks sake!!!!!' I shouted! 'Is it?!!! Oh sorry! Didn't realise it had one!'

Wanker! lol! The scary thing is he used to be a mechanic and did rallycross years ago!
I got my own back though! I used to scare the crap out of him when he used to come out in my cossie!!!
