Has anyone on here been trying to get tickets today ?

I have tried and tried and failed, then when See Tickets eventually did work it crashed after I entered my card details once I returned to start all over it said I had already made a booking using those reference numbers, all phone lines have been screwed

See Tickets now show the event as sold out, I can honestly say I fucking hope not as there system has stopped me from getting tickets !

 

i cant belive they would sell out on the first day?
if they have m8, just go leeds fest. i thought that was pretty good, but dont go Vfest, compared to glastenbury thats just a pussy fest, and not even the good type

 

I do V every year and have done for a decade, I did Glasto for my first time this year and it opened my eyes to why it has the reputation that it does, totally mindblowing, like no other festival, it really showed how mild V actually is and how much of a bargain Glasto is! I agree though I can't imagine they sold that many tickets in one day although I have literally been trying most of the day and for 4 hrs solid this morning.

Glastonbury Registration says it will be open again tomorrow which wouldn't make any sense if it has sold out but then it has said that since before tickets went on sale this morning

 

What are these Festivals like? and the camping (parties etc)? I might go to one or a couple if I get a job!

 

no im not going, id like to 1 year. i just hope the traffic aint as bad! qued out side my house ALL day! not impressed, people shouting and sitting on my wall! my daughter alseep in bed got woke up! n people pissing in my garden! i love the festivals but this real pissed me off this year, ok rant over! lol

DOWNLOAD or ROCK-AM-RING are the best festivals to got to!
Rock am ring is at nurburgring, cant wait to go and take a car, do the track and then rock all night long!

 

I am actually from Glastonbury and still cant work out why people call it Glastonbury music festival when its about 6 or 7 miles away in Pilton

 

if anyone gets stuck in traffic in a little village called guerney slade on route to the festival and find that someone keeps shooting them with a bb gun then look in Hairdresser-joys direction

 

They were setting up for that Rock-am-ring when we were over there earlier this year.

would like to go to that.

Got my tickets yesterday at 9.40am

 

Cheers Chip, I spoke to see tickets this morning and they use the same online booking service that everyone else has to and they said they had the same problem I did with most bookings, they say that the message I got does mean I am booked but their computer system is about 48hrs behind in sending out confirmation emails.

I'm slightly less pissed off about the whole thing now as I think we are sorted but I'll know for sure in the next few days.

Rock AM Ring would be mental, I will definately do that one day.

Congrats

 

One of the best weekends I ever had went something like, Fri - drive to 'Ring, Sleep. Sat - Get laps in, drive back, sleep in service station. Sun - Drive to MK on way home to watch Linkin Park, Jay Z, Pendulum etc. Mon - Back in work

 

He was on about the festival at the ring, did you go to that?
