im trying to connect to xbox live and it aint having none of it. says it cant connect to my network but i know thats ok. tried turning the router off and on and all that crap but it just aint having none. re-entered my passkey to my network and stuff and am out of ideas now.
Anyone got any fresh ideas?

 

If you have an ethernet cable that can stretch far enough, use that to try and bridge a connection then take it away. I know that worked for a few mates.

 

cant use the ethernet cable as the modems downstairs and xbox is upstairs

 

Move the xbox closer to the router just to try and then take it back upstairs.

 

Maybe your xbox is somehow out of range of the wireless network.

I have this issue from time to time although the router and the xbox are always in the same position.

Must be something in the air??

 

mine sometimes pisses about and turn on/off dont work but unplugging the usb to it does

only on cod4 too!
