I know the ecu controls the spark and boost limit what else does it control? how do you change the fuel mapping if you say put in a ported head and cam and up the boost?

Hi mate, there is no fuel mapping on Escort RS turbo's, the pressure is just varied acording to the position of the flap (more air flow sucks the flap down further) in the metering unit and your throttle position.
The fuel pressure will need setting according to your AFR (Air to Fuel ratio) at full load WOT using a wideband lambda.
Unless you have a WBo2 and some Det Cans your better off taking it to your nearest RS experienced tuner, or you risk your engine mate.

Thanks for the response guys, my rs is just a run about while i build up my cossie powered capri, i snached the rs up for 500 quid because it was running on 3 cylinders but a new injector sorted that out. I really like the cars but they dont really make enough power so as i need to change my cam i was going to put in a performance one and up the boost abit, obviously i wouldent do this without adjusting the fueling and ignition so i was just looking into whats involved.

does anyone reccomend a good place to deal with cvh turbo set up in the south of england? (the further south the better)

cheers

don't know who is down south, but make sure it's somewhere that has experience with Mfi RST's - they are quite a complicated setup.
