Just moved into our new house and we need an alarm, whats a good price for one

depends on what make etc, but we fit basic ones for around £400

Its a 3 bed detached, we also have a Rotty, will she set it off if she wanders about at night.

depends where she wonders? can disable certain zones for night time etc, so could have downstairs set and not upstairs if thats where she is or other way round

Similar boat as you mate but i've heard that Visonic are a decent make alarm to look for. Was always wairy about wiress alarm systems as well but they seem to be the thing to have now? (easier to install!)

are you wanting a monitored alarm or local sounder only

if you want monitored, I know Adt are one of the cheapest for residential at the moment, might be worth getting an online quote from them to see
