well what timing my gearbox has celebrated xmas in style and thrown the towel in. got a nice couple of cracks for free too

will mtx75 boxes mount to the cvh block ok?
will the shafts need changing, bearing in mind its a mk5 escy anyhow?

or has anyone got a S1 'box going cheap? or even a mk5 escy one for that matter?

 

U will need 2 find a clutch for it as the input shaft on the MTX75 box is 23mm, i used a galaxy autospastic clutch plate on mine and as for the driveshafts, get a pair of MK5 RS 2000 ones as they are a bigger spline! hope this helps. pete
