MK4 XR3i Manifold

Has anyone had to replace a manifold on their mk4 escort? if so how much did it cost and how easy was it to get the new manifold? was told today mine may be blowing.

Is it easier to save a bit and get everything from the manifold back done in a 1er?

blowing? is it just a gaskit or cracked or? gaskit is £3 from ford , if its cracked take it off and have it tig welded wont be any more than a £10 an then a new gaski?

the 4 branch is very strong and dont tend to crack, the gaskets like said cost fook all and easy to do!
