My Focus is in at the garage tomorrow, its gettin a few oil seals replaced and retimed back up with also the dials on the Piper vernier pulleys set up again as they are way out...

Im runnin Piper Fast Road Cams, what should the dials be set at on the pulleys...

I have a mk1 2.0 16v ESP Focus...

Can some1 help, be much appreciated!

 

The pulleys are keyed in so that when showing 0 they are lined up key/cam wise, so just need to establish true tdc and go from there.

Thats wat they are doin, puttin them bk to 0 then resettin them from there as sum1 has messed n they r not right at all, wondered if anyon here had got any in there focus and could tell me their readings...

 

If you want them set up to give the best, this would be done on the rolling road, so you can see the results, and tweak either way.
Just do it to std, marks as this will be closest with using dial gauge, timing disc etc, although can be set with life on overlap.

Cars got rolling road on saturday, how much would they charge to tweak with them do you recon? Also just wanted to know if anyone knew what piper recommended?

 

It only takes a minute to loosen, then retry, so will be charged on the hourly basis I would imagine.
