Hey!

I bought new headlights today and i am wondering between new set of clear indicators or set of ambers. One thing in clear indicators bothers me, there is always yellow lenses under clear coating so it is more like "half" clear indicator..

 

i have always liked the clear ones myself, i am not a crowed follower tho and i think the amber look totally wrong for a car bright orange stuck on each corner that does not match anything else on the car

 

Amber i say, you have a pre 90 spec spoiler anyway

 

amber all the way mate will look factory fresh then ive got mine on ambers

 

I have 90 spec rear spoiler in garage waiting for paintwork or car complete respray because i am not satisfied with current paintwork detailing level. Also one option is to buy 16" comp. mo´s next spring so i believe in future car will look complete 90 spec and there would be 16-17" compos so..
But i have to think. If you have idea where i can get clear front indicators which look good and not half amber write it down here.

Do anyone know where i can get rear lights with clear indicator, same model in twins car red rst.

 

Ambers for me, I'd put the spots back on if they still fit

orange ones make u look special

 

they are totally clear rear lights sprayed with red tinting spray mate

you can not buy them but you could do them yourself

or you could even ask twins to do them for you i know he does stuff like this

 

i prefer ambers cos i like the original look..ive got a s1 tho which look totally wrong with clears..s2 looks nice with clears if the rest are done aswell..think all mk4s came with ambers

the completely clear front indicators are getting kind of hard to get hold of now

breaking the amber lense out from inside as per the above link will give a perfectly suitable result though dude

DONT BUY THEM FROM THERE!!

I bought a set online from ATD about a year ago, no sign of them in 3 weeks but they took the cash. Rang them up and they've been discontinued for years but they didnt contact me. Refunded in the end but after a long wait. They said they "Cant remove them from the website".

The ONLY way to do it now is so smash the amber filter out, very easy to do I did it to mine.
