it was a bt demonstrator car thats why its white, good spot! if you look at the slam panel you can see it used to be silver.

only mod id consider is putting the KA alloys onto it as i want a completely normal car to run about in. i love driving past the police and for the first time in my life being completely legal!

im not looking forward to polishing it - i bet i leave half of it on the car as cant see where ive been!

and yeah it is cheap as chips - 60 mpg - im loving that!!

i will mate!

its not fast but it runs away from you more than the RS! i couldnt believe i almost sailed through a speed camera on the way back from picking it up! the exhaust is quieter at 90 than the RS is on tickover!!

yeah yanrs, thats all the reasons i bought it and enjoy driving it!

well it says 105lb/ft torque in the handbook, dont really thrash it so dont really know if it lives up to it!

and insurance is a joke! had a premium of 900 on the frst mods included 3000 miles. changed to the ka half way thru the year and the rebait is only 24quid!! that is for umlimited mileage tho - and dont care as had a quote for next year at 400 fully comp!!

lol at 3 wheels! so far im quite impressed with the handling but dont like to push it! im used to having a RS where too much right foot means something breaks or a pipe blows off!

and i dont think its seen more than 4k revs in its life as bought it off a 70 yr old bloke!

They love a good ragging!

Mine used to to do about 95mh flat out, and with no rev counter, I just used to rev mine till valve bounce!! But they dont like toooo much abuse round the twisties, as mine used to bubble the powersteer fluid quite often

sounds like you had good fun finding the limits with yours! i know what you mean about no rev counter - first car ive had like it and its a bit weird just guessing when the limiter is going to come in!

im yet to find the limits with mine, has a book figure of 92 but it was quite happy cruising down the road at 90 the other day! i dont push it hard often, honest!

just need to do that and a water temp gauge and it will be looking like a normal car!

i miss that gauge as it will probably be too late by the time the water warning light is on!

Limiter cuts in at about 30 in 1st,50 2nd,80 3rd I think 4th hits around 100 if I remember right.Never hit the limiter in 5th but it ran out of puff at around 115 downhill with the wind behind it.
