any pointers for when looking at one??? having owned several fords in the past and in particular a 90 XR3i i know how much of a rot box they can be!!!!
I think its becoming increasing difficult to find good genuine examples of series 2's? Ive also been looking in rallye news (RSOC mag) and it seems there are some good ones in there, strong money though!!!

main things i can think of are elcetrics (windows) and battery tray (rust) other than that all the normal things that go wrong with other cars!

rsoc rallye news is best place, the think with a erst u knw when u found a gud one make sue u check the inner wings battery tray and look 4 bubbling specially on roof and where the bonnet meets the lights, look 4 something standard thats never run above factory boost, i think a full service history is important and try 2 get a 90 spec good luck mate, took me 6 months 2 find a mint one
