I thought i would post up some pictures of my rs turbo,the black one was my old one that was hit by some old duffer ,i had that repaired through insurance ,then shortly after that it was written off the following pics are before the write off,i owned this about 5 years ago .

After it was written off i waited a couple of years and bought a focus st170,but after spending a lot of time in Davids (twins) s2 decided it was time for another,so the search was on and we found this.
2 owners from new ,i bought it off a 60 year old lady.The following pictures are the work we (me and the Twins) have carried out on the car over the last few months,hope you like them.


It did have a tow bar on,this came off right away

As soon as we got it home gave it a valet

All the interior was scrubbed and hoovered.

 

Bottoms of quarter panels needed replacing and also a new batt tray was fitted ,the chassis rails and floor where solid so received waxoyl.The same guy that did Davids s2 (twins) did the welding for me. Also trimmed up the rear arches and bonded and trim the body kit, no rubbing.

New tray ,not painted yet as having all bay done together ands smoothed.

Next stage was to fit the st170 brake set up,and focus rear disk conversion along with koni ajustable shocks and O.Z super leggeras in 17" with Toyo proxis tyres.Also new rear lights converted by David Off to the twins house early one weekend.









A few with the bits on ,not sitting low enough so going to change the springs.

 

Also been collecting a few bits through the year and had a low comp engine built with big valve head.Just a bit of chrome off A S autos.




Strut brace and mongoose.

Going to stick a cossie back box on it .

For when the abs is removed.

Scorpio self dimming mirror



Got hold off a standard 90 spec front bumper and David worked his magic on it.Ready for the grs and twin fans

Next we removed the sunroof cartridge to check for rust,little bit in there treated with a rust cure which we applied with a radiator roller and a squirty bottle job done,dropped the headling to check there aswell,Got another unit down the breakers as the runners were a bit stiff.

This will all be chromed.

L6 ecu and new boot release.

Ahmed adaptor plate and cossie throttle body.

Brand new geniune tailgate was sourced this has no wiper hole and will be delocked ready for the 90spec spolier


Found a little rust under the bumper ,soon to be dealt with.




Also have a brand new bonnet to go on and the doors will be delocked.Hope you enjoyed the pics.Just like to say a big thanks to the Twins for all the help so far

V Nice RS mate doin a good job of doing it up not sure about those lights on a white car - looks like theres no glass over the inicator.
get some more pics up with the lower suspenion. i had -45mm springs and it looks spot on

 

Will. if only you had bigger brakes on the black one i remeber when neil was driving hayley's car and he nearly hit matt up the arse when he was driving yours!!
All you need now is an engine loom and an alternator bracket

Keep thinking of selling the EscCos to do another project but she'd kill me
