Not sure about it being over, I know more people that have lost there jobs in the last couple of weeks than since this whole shite started.

Saying that my dad has been delivering quite a few new Lexus`s lately.

Things are defently changing

Hope so. Things are grim just now for sure.

Makes you realise how good we had it for the last few years when you have to rough it through a shit time like this.

from what ive seen, its stopped getting any worse, but its got a long way to "recover" and it will certainly take more than a couple of months.

Also bear in mind it will recover to a level far below where it fell from as the 1007 peak wasnt ever going to be sustainable.

^^^^^ Totally agree with that.... there are signs round here of things getting a bit better. The local builders merchant says their sales are the highest for 12 months and have been rising nicely for a few weeks now. Always a good sign.

House builders are starting to by up land in a big way again which is also a good sign.

Lets hope eh

How old are you???
That sounds like the sort of thing Conor Mcleod of the clan Mcleod would say.

I don't think ther term "over" is appropriate, typical of people aka government trying to paint an encouraging view of the truth, i would say stabilized is maybe a more correct term if indded that is even the case.

Lets hope it picks up.

Even if it's over now it will take a year or so to start to get back to normal. The other half will be happy, started her nursing but there's no jobs at the moment, pretty much like everywhere.

recession only means things have stopped getting worse for a period of six months minimum.
things have a long way to go till the outlook is going to be good.
