Save your money and get a decent intercooler.

Charge coolers are shit.

grs/pro alloy which would be best, the problem is i have a custom alley rad which covers most of the front, and dont really have room for massive cooler

Chargecoolers seem to be a thing of the past now on rst's, the old pace ones just don't work as well as a good front mount. If you're only wanting 170bhp or somethin i guess it would do the job.

From personnal experience watching my ACT's on track,I know my GRS is doing a great job, never more than 10C over ambient.I always laugh when someone recommends a intercooler based on a blast up the by-pass,thats not a test, but 15 mins around Donno or Croft in the summer is!!!Regards,Micky

Yeah the fact you never see one on the bigger bhp cars must tell you somethin From memory my grs was about Ł400 invluding the 2 fans, think the intercooler on its own is around the Ł250 mark, was a few years ago that i got one though.
