Tempted to make use of the dish and cabling on the side of my house and plug in a HD Freesat box... But is it worth it?
I'd still keep my Freeview box and aerial, as the box is a PVR which is usefull, and the upstairs TV has freeview built in, but isn't HD...
Is it worth it for the HD stuff? Is there a lot on there? I know you can go to the site, but I wanted a real person, real experience views on it....

But are any of them any good?
Cos half of the Freeview channels are shite
It's all well and good advertising it ha xx amount of channels, but if 50% are shite, it's a different story
As for HD, is it only BBC HD and select progs on ITV?

At the moment for 2 channels.... i say not, as what is in HD you might not be into watch anyways, and what you do want to watch on them, can probably be downloaded via a torrent,
you in a cable area?

Have been looking at the Humax as it looks like the best option. 250 quid just seems a bit steep though.
Have a look on the Freesat website Thrush, they have listings showing what's HD. Not loads of stuff, but I know Ofcom want there to be several more free HD channel in 2010.

I bought a cheapy Bush Freesat HD from Argos, cost £65;00. If you are into footie then well worth it, watched last night in HD
.
Even BBC HD is splendid, they broadcast a varied selection in HD, Dragons Den etc.
I looked at the Humax kit, which is supposed to be the best, but I do not watch much TV so went the cheap route, well worth it.
