Default Yyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy!!!!

i'm not completely finished but i have the new clutch in and the engine and box back on the mounts, did run into a few problems, i couldn't drop the subframe cos the exhaust is quite rotten and taking it off would of killed it so i had to take all the bolts bar 1 out and drop it as far as possible with a jack, couldn't get the box on the floor with the room but got it apart and fitted it all in the engine bay, didn't have a clutch alignment tool so used a socket extension and it went in a treat .

i'm well happy i'v got it nearly done, i haven't stopped since about 12, had to run out and grab some boards cos our drive is knackered, and it got it done in the nick of time the old clutch was on the rivets.

i'm really pleased with myself cos after everyone was telling how much of a nightmare it was gunna be, i really didn't wanna do it, then my mates that i was relying on helping get the box out cos i was working on the floor with no hoist was already busy with something else , i wouldn't like to do one again but impressed i had no major probs, and it all went quite smoothly within reason

so atm i feel like this

i'm now going out to get proper laggin and then finnish the job off tmoz with a proper hangover

feel free to take the piss or praise me i'm welcome to all atm

Good stuff!

I don't envy you doing one on the deck, shame you didn't have access to a ramp as it's piss easy on a 2 poster!
