escort rs turbo smoking ...

hi , iv just bort the car and its smoking blue when i come off the boost quite bad ... what does this mean ? cheers !

yh i agree, blue smoke suggests oil and if its during gear change ect that would suggest turbo mate

Don't rule out piston rings, but more than likely turbo oil seals. Does it smoke in the mornings when first started and then keep smoking till it's warmed up a bit?

could be the oil seals on the head aswell id go for them first theyre only cheap to replace if u use the tool

it just smokes when i let off mate , not bad on idle etc !
