that's the most powerful cossie i know of mate, it's a modd'd mk1 escort that ran 7.5 boasting over 800bhp will try find some engine pics and get them posted.

 

dont know for sure if they are proven but some pretty big numbers coming out of norway etc, 1000bhp+

 

i think norway are doing the best with the yb and extracting bhp

 

I think greece is ahead of norway

 

i thought there was some debate about the authenticity of the numbers coming from greece, all of the greek car write ups in fast ford etc seem to say 'claimed' bhp

Dont know that many in the UK over 800bhp.
Several from Julian Godfrey up to 880bhp, mine at 838 probably the most in a normal road car & AG also over 800bhp may be a few more but not many im sure. Getting big Power is not the problem keeping it together to do a sensible mileage & making it driveable is where it gets difficult, not a problem in drag engines. I know that the Scandys are having the same problems over 800bhp as tuners in the UK as they do ask questions of Mark.
