i know a boy who died in a crash on friday night,just turned 18 the day before as well

there were another 4 people in the car 3 of them are in a bad way,the driver was drunk and stole his mums car,he got out with just a scratch

You need to contact the Police so You can be eliminated.

Others may come forward telling of 2 Mercs together, then the Police will be looking for the Other Merc (you?) to eliminate you from enquiries.
Unless you were more involved than you say in which case they will find you anyway, as you have posted here.

For the Mail drivers back to be broken the Merc must have been moving pretty quick when it hit it.

As far as I know I have done nothing wong but worried that I will be tied up in this in some way

 

I know he never crashed when we were there cos he caught me up at the top of the road we went around the roundabout a couple of times and he just fucked off

 

So now the police will try and blame you for racing, ignore any time difference and have you up in court. Did you see the other thread about the guy that went to jail because the car behind him crashed?

I know they tried to blame me for a crash in 1989 that happened in front of me (that was from speaking to witnesses at the subsequent court case)

I really dont know what to do tescos was only 5 mins from there and we were in there for 15 mins easy and came back a diff way so is there any way I can check the times on the cctv in tesco to see if we were there

Get in touch and tell them you were there, BUT be careful what you tell them and how you tell them it happened because they'll happily charge you if you admit to excessive speed and blowing a red light.

Think about it this way.

If it was you working in your Royal Mail van and some pikey smashed into you so hard it broke your back, would you want someone who had seen them driving like wankers to come forward as a witness to the state of their driving???
Or would you be happy for it to possibly just be put down to an unfortunate accident?
If you were potentially parylised, would it be of any consolation to know it wasnt your fault?

If your friend/son/partner/ whatever had been killed in a crash-would you not want to know why?

You havent done anything wrong so whats going to incriminate you?

 

it'll be better if you go down yourself and tell them what happened. if someone else seen your car in the area and the police come looking for you it wont look so good.

 

Barry if it was me I'd keep my mouth shut and delete this fucking thread. Just don't go looking for trouble, else suddenly you were "racing" this Merc when the crash happened, thus get banged up inside for years.
