I was up London on Thursday and i must have seen at least 4!!! And countless Rarris Astons, and other exotica Another world up there.


Even seen a Carrer GT on the M4 coming home, the guy was in his 50's and doing 60 as we passed him easy doing 80mph lol.

 

That was on his private driveway?

Lol i bet his face was a picture. Sadly alot of those sort of owners do know and respect the cossie. My dads mate who i thought had no idea about cars was telling me how my rs500 rep was a rep due to not having 8 injectors and he did think they went off the clock as standard

i had the same feelin when a porche carrera turbo tried to out run me in my old corsa turbo from 30 - 130+..... boy did he get a shock with me sat on his bumper!

its always fun to piss on the lil scooby boys, but nothing to brag about.... its the big kills that make you really smile!

 

But you'd rather be able to spell and go home in the Porsche wouldn't you

yes that is a bit of a issue mate im thinking of pulling out the engine for a refresh and sorting the exact sper out and whackin a 30 on it

 

Same engine as the RS4, and from what I've read, pretty much all of them struggle to make the quoted 414bhp when standard.

yes i was mate,that concrete yard halfway up,it was about 5o clock last week and i was just chilling for 15mins before battling through darnall,i was sat outside macd's with lorry dumped on kerb outside the steel place,had to get on me feet and peer over the fence when i saw you,looks sweet and sounds sweeter.

 

I managed to upset a new RS4 estate in my corsa turb... bloke loved it, got the thumbs up, and his missus was laughing..

 

Nice one mate . Would have love to have seen it. Why are some people going on about "i would rather go home in " . we are on about a cossie beating these top end Ł50,000+ high performance car's. Yes we would love to have these car's and big mansion's but hey we can't so get behind the cosworth.

 

its prob cause there aint such thing as a carrera turbo,,, its either a n/a carrera or a turbo

the carreras aint that quick tbh due to the weight of them, the carrera 4s for example is just over 300bhp and 4wd and weighs alot more than a corsa with a turbo engine,, race a REAL turbo and then tell me how you get on

 

the point is wasting a car when you have more power aint that impressive,, the difference comes to why they aint as fast as a cossie can be, they tend to weigh more and where the cossie is rattling its dash and the steering has gone all light and you got 2 hands on the wheel the bloke in the porsche turbo will prob still be chatting on hes phone about some old sierra thats flying past belching out smoke not to mention the stopping distances of the 2 cars, sierras brakes aint the best compared to 6 pot brembos as standard

 

what ya done to it now?

 

no its just satisfying when you built the car and the engine and set it up all yourself.

 

This is why Cossies were made, it's why I own one. Cheap fast fun.
