90 spec inner wing is much steeper, so a 90 spec tank on an 88 spec motor sits really on the piss angled backwards.

never actually tried using 1 in said arrangement, so not even sure if the bonnet wud clear it, all i know is it looks stupid lol

You won't be able to shut the bonnet, the tanks are a little bit bigger I think, and 90 spec wings are deeper.

So if you have a 90 spec car, you can use any?. Only reason Ive revived this thread, is ive a second hand unknown brand polished tank to go on my 90 spec, and I didnt know they were different till now.

I'm afraid I can't help with that question, I tried a '90 spec on a '89 car. I wonder if there would be a massive gap between the bottom of the tank and the wing ?

90 spec car av got so has the later inner wing...when a fitted the bailey bottle wich just states erst on it....it just sat to high for ma liking bottle lid sat above wing level but didn't hit bonnet but took off as didn't want to risk damage to Bonnet..also if memory serves me right bolt holes were diff but could be wrong about that part
