Default REYLAND Escort - Version 2!! - updated P20

And so Martin's rebuild of the new & improved Reyland Escort begins!!

new pics will be added in here as the build progresses and they are also on the www.reyland.co.uk website.

the first pics are a bit dark as it was late when i took them!

take 1 brand new escort cosworth motorsport shell and add a proper weld in roll cage , seam welding , RHD bulkhead , remove the fuel cap & spare wheel well and add a few more tweaks and you get :-

Awesome

I'm suprised the rollcage doesnt have any joins to the A or B pillars though. Are they still to go on or are they un-necessary?

the cage is complete. the roll cage people said roll cage design has moved on a lot since Martin had the last escort's cage done and this one is a LOT stronger

Smart!

Proper nice bit of welding under the bonnet!

Is that some extra strengthening braces on the suspension turrets?
