22.2mm vs 23.8mm Master Cylinders, are they interchangable and is the bigger one better to have?

They are interchangeable yes, different piston size inside is the difference.....bigger bore in effect will move more fluid/give better braking force.

wont the bigger one move more fluid, but the pedal wont feel as firm?

 

think i have the big one on my car, and it feels shit like loads of air in the system

Blimey i tried everywhere....and i mean loads of places but couldn't get a new one!! Put a 2nd hand 25mm one on mine now but having not yet had the chance to use the car i don't know if it works! I'll be asking you nicely to get me one if it doesn't work karlos haha!

My local motor factors (JR Components) can get them next day from their supplier, didnt have any on the shelf but phoned the supplier and said no problem!
They are also on ebay for £10 more here:
