got a black.blue.brown and a yellow/whitish one.

black to aux air i think it is.brown to middle of inlet.cold start is that?

yellow/white to bottom left of manifold at drivers side?

i cant see where the blue goes?

i have connected it up black to black
brown to brown
yellow/white to what looks like the same colour
is this correct?

 

hiya mate its as follows :

Blue = middle of inlet (cold start valve)
Black = Aux air device
Yellow = engine coolant temp sensor
Brown = Thermo switch

and yes mate as you say its simply colour to colour when conecting them

 

cheers mate,the middle connector on my inlet is brown.the one with the red pipe in to it which i take is cold start.not unless its discoloured.il go have a better look.
where is the thermo switch?
