Hello people, i think the feul pump has gone on my mk6 escort gti! does any1 no were the feul pump is??

It must be the feul pump as ive checked the feul presure and there is non at all and i cant hear it turn on when the ignition is turned on.. is there a relay or a fuse anywere i can check first.

Any help would be great.. thanks people!!

It's in the tank and im sure you have to drop the tank to get at it unless you can get to it from under the back seat.

 

Cheers mate.. thats what i thought lol.. ive lifted the seat an seems to be no were to get at it! so do u think i will need a new tank or should i be able to get the pump out if i drop the tank???

You can get them out but you need to drop the tank there held in by a big metal ring that you just turn iirc

It's worth checking the relay first tho mate before you pull the tank out

 

Deffo check the relay and fuse first!
