Hello dear comanions.
I thought i should have to post a topic of my car.
It's 1990 hatch Escort, 1,6 l 66 kw petrol engine.
I am restaurating it. It will be few day's to get it resprayed or painted as you wish.
So here are my car pictures.
When i got it it was like that..



Then i put my RS steering wheel from my estate Sierra in...


Finally i started to restore it form the bottom...










Then i started some bodywork...

Yes im doing a full restoration
for now the car is in paint shop and i have few picture of it.

Can anyone tell me the bonnet vent measurements ?
i cant find it anywhere

I have a rst bonnet i will measure the vents tommorrow ,do you mean where abouts in the bonnet they sit ?

then i should have to equip myself bonnet vents.

Today im that close to assemblying
now i have front and rear window in place and it needs a bit polishing and then its all go

 

For a month ago i started to replace front brake discs lowering spring etc. and took out the engine.

hopefully i'll get more pics cause progress is good. i have put the engine toether again and replaced worn bits. so in few days i would like to get engine under the bonnet and do the start up.

Thanx.. Today my engine is under the bonnet and assembled. now i need fluids and filter and do the startup. Hopefully i will get chance to do some pictures..

Hi there. Todays post is a bit update. I've changed all parts that i needed to replace and now the interior is getting a refreshing looks. Lowering springs and brake discs are new and i put an XR3 brake calipers. So few pictures from the car. And rear spoiler is on too.

light and signal light didnt work but now its all fine
