Thought i'd put up a few more recent pictures of my escos as I'm not really one for putting pics up too regular as i'm a lazy fooker LOL

They go back to my first show in cumbria right through to Ford Fair this weekend.

Unfortunately the urge to sell her is rearing its ugly head again because I really want to build a mega track car either a Focus cosworth or an escos track car etc.........

always had the bug Martin, don't really wanna sell the 205 track car but we need to for our new house but my Escos just comes out for shows and the meetings so it's a bit of a waste really. I could build a very good spec track car for the money i'd get for her really. Wouldn't sell if it wasn't the right money though!

looks like you are with me then scott, i fancy the track again and like you have a far to nice an escort for that, thought i had sold mine but turns out he was a time waster and said that it was to nice for him lol on sunday when he viewed the car. any way the car looks good as norm and still havent had a look around it yet.

 

not really mate She got filthy on the way down so only got a wash, dry and tyres dressed for Ford Fair as I wasn't showing her.

no more shows for me till National Day and can't really be bothered to show her there as it always spoils the show for me as don't get a chance to look around properly. Sold my business so just waiting to complete and move to our new house (with big garage) so just fancy something I can build and lash around without worrying about stone chips etc etc.

 

The driving to the show picture looks like when they test new cars and cover the front so you can't see it

took her off the road in sept 2005 as I was getting bored but didn't wanna sell her! Bought an E46 M3 then a Focus RS but then wanted to get the cos back out so I stripped her and done a 2nd resto on her

I do thrash her though when I'm out in her!!

 

That's what i do when thoughts of selling my saphh appear,think its a cossie thing about selling up now and again,read loads of posts about it!

Saw it @ Carville services on Saturday when I filled up for the drive to Ford Fair ...

Very nice ... Even looked ok with the Blue tape on the front.

 

Lovely motor, different choice of rims that look suprisingly good!

Yeah, it's one of the nicest out there. Those Breyton rims look fantastic on it. 10/10 for thinking outside the box there. Lovely colour too, the Vintage really helps bring out the best of it. Adds another dimension to it almost.

 

she now has 3 coats of Zymol Concourse on her too!!!!

 

I really rate Concours on black and the darker blues, greens etc. Could spend all day sniffing it too! Got a couple of pots in the fridge.

 

i saw this car at ford fair,really nice motor you got,off topic does anyone know who's is the other concourse one,imperial blue with d40 cos? reg on.

 

It is actually BETTER than the Vintage imho! I top her up when the car shows the signs of holograms appearing and they just disapear!!

 

That's what I've been telling people for at least the past 3 years now! I think the yellow Carnauba content works well with the darker colours, and some people tend to overlook it because it's not all white Carnauba.

It's not as durable as vintage, and it's not as good a finish on straight reds and lighter colours, but I've always preferred it on the darker colours.

Vintage certainly doesn't warrant spending the extra Ł1800-odd quid anyway!

Do you/have you used Zaino Z8 after the wax?
