Really annoying this everytime a post is put up about it nothing happens taking ages for pages to load up if you refresh it seems to help i use loads of other sites with no hastle its taking the fun out a good site.The site has more adverts & traders than ever so its not a money issue please sort this frustrating problem

We havent tried to sort iot as we werent aware there was an issue mate. Is it like this now?

Still playing up for me, been like it since Saturday. Stu, the same happens when I try to get on Scoobynet.

Its always the same. Every other site is fine, its always this one that is slow. Why lol

 

I'm having major issues with this site and this site only today! I'm currently running Mozilla Firefox which has allowed me to at least get on but it's still acting the bollox..

It's now been transfering data from images.ibsrv.net for the last couple of minutes and the pages aren't loading properly......

Help??

 

It's still good for me at work. Not as fast as at home, but that's 'cos the connection at home is so much better...

 

I fixed my issues by blocking jbrlsr.com and quantserve.com via my router, site is quick now apart from :

I get this problem sometimes, and the smilies refuse to load completely. My cache is on and setup but ibsrv doesnt cache any images for me either, every other site is fine...

 

I was hoping Mozilla would let me block all the shite but it's not. How do I go about blocking bits via my router?

 

It's now been connecting to pxl.ibpxl.com for god knows how long!

 

I'm now running IE8 and after initially thinking it was sorted........I was wrong.

 

Im with sky i phoned the helpline last night they tested the line & im getting nearly 5 meg

The index pages load up ok, it's just individual threads that take their time. But most annoyingly I've got to wait ages for the text box to appear before I can reply!

It's mad. PM's are pretty much normal though.

According to sky mine is fine & the above info i posted was copied & pasted tonight you can see the download speed which looks good

 

Dre 1983 also with Sky. I see a pattern forming.

The fact your download speed is good doesnt mean your ISP has a solid connection to servers on the other side of the world. Out of interest, try Scoobynet and see if you have issues there as well as its in the same town. www.scoobynet.com

I spoke to sky last night guy could hardly speak english total joke then he told me to change my filters & try that but i did with no difference

 

Sky customer service is a joke, I may be going Virgin soon anyway.

 

Loads of people (usually computer geeks) slate AOL, but I've NEVER had a single problem in 12 years with them, and it's ridiculously fast at all times.

Especially ironic when they're always moaning about problems with their ISP's.

I'd never go with anyone else at home.

Ive been with sky 2 years but just the last week been having probs

 

I keep getting Database errors as well tonight. As said Scoobynets worse the front page wont even load up for me.

 

I've had just the one database error so far! I can't load Scoobynet either...

 

Also same as you Mal the reply box has gone AWOL lol.

Sorry guys, id say its almost certain your ISP is having issues as opposed to the site itself. Its certainly more than just coincidence that you guys are all on Sky.

Scoobynet does a lot more traffic than here as a rule and nobody over there is complaining about speed problems.

 

You know, i used my laptop earlier and it ran this site fast as f**k, then i came back to my pc and it was slow.. the only differences are.. pc = xp + Internet explorer 8.. laptop is Vista, with none of the updates installed yet..

i'm wondering if it's IE8 that's causing issues ?

anyone have problems with it using firefox ?
