I think the guy in the 4*4 cossie was surprised when i had him off the line, but by the end of the strip he was just SO far in front of me.
The mini corners like hell but is only a 16 second car so not really suited to the quarter!

Was a complete re-build, mostly new bits, not quite as lary as your's but has got an MG lump in it + Sorted suspension/interior etc etc!!

God I miss driving it!!

 

Looks nice, i thought it was a 30 at thirst glance at the colour, but cant be on b reg of course.

 

Nah mate, it's actually alot more purple than that, crap picture scanned before the days of digital!! It's Jaguar Racing Purple (the colour from the Silk Cut LeMans car). Would like to re-build it again, needs painting again really, made the mistake of painting it ALL purple instead of undersealing the bottom etc, plan to mess with the engine more then (turbo?) as it was my first car I had to keep it sensible-ish, is mental fun though!

Oh, I don't have the same size 'issues' as you, fair play mate!!
