Going to be fitting the bonnet release cable to the 3dr tomorrow but cant remember whereabouts it exits the bulkhead or what route it takes to the bonnet catch.
Does it go through the same hole in the bulkhead as the speedo cable or through the large rubber grommet that the loom goes through when passing from the inside of the car to the engine bay?

 

If i remember rightly it runs out near where the speedo cable is, it doesn't share the grommet as the loom though, then runs along the offside inner wing and attachs on to a couple of white clips along the way then down to the slam panel etc.

 

I'm sure on the sapphy anyway it has it's own grommet all to itself, just below the lip where the firewall bit sits on top of, as water drips down the cable through the grommet drips off pedals and rots the floor out.
