hi everyone, my exhaust keeps throwing out black stuff. its not smoke. my rear bumper has black dropplets/specks on it after a run(not good on a white car)

is this normal ??

im going to book it in for a tune up once iv done a few miles on my new headgasket.

What set up are you running and what car? sounds like Over fueling though

 

s2 rs turbo mfi, msd chip,-31, piper cam, front mount, scorpion exhaust

 

yeah its the fueling,or possibly burning off old oil from the head gasket failure?
Go get her set up mate, then your safe

 

either a failed headgasket has kicked out oil and water and that's finding its way through the system, or it's been running rich and condensation is mixing with soot and kicking that out.
panic not if you've done the HG, it happens, take it for a good long run, the heat will sot it out soon enough.
