How deep can you drill the 205 block for extra length head bolts?

How deep can you drill the 205 block for extra length head bolts?

As title really.

Is it possible to go 2-3 cm (1 inch) further down in the block on a 205 block to get a longer thread for more thread overlap?

Not many people long stud 205 blocks mate. It may take a while for an answer

Its not worth doing, standard genuine bolts are good enough for any application involving a 205 block anyway.
