I've just paid for Gold Member Accounts, so please don't delete this thread
Those who know me well, know how much this car means to me and what it represents. So its a very reluctant sale, but bigger and better things are on the cards and I need to fund a new project.
46k on the clock, no rebuilds, maintained regardless of cost and time; I believe the exact words by Neil @ FF on feature day was "you've managed to polish out the orange peel"
Full feature in FastFord May 2009 and FastFord Thrash feature June 2009 (car is on the free poster too) if you want further details.
£11k

Refurbed rear brakes, took appart, repainted etc. Waxoyl'd on vital sections under the arches etc. Also had both quarters painted the day before Central Day, mainly down to my OCD....world's smallest stone chips, but I knew they were there. Then fitted new extended armourfend to the rear wings.

My custom intercooler, results are similar to popular air2air choices despite running with a smaller intercooler. Did not test the ACT's on a long stretch (forgot when at Brunters ).

Prime example of an FRS, probably the best i've seen. There's so many neat little touches everywhere and you can tell from the condition of it that the car's never wanted for anything.
The fact that a hell of a lot of the work has been done by yourself (I/C, air duct etc.) must make it all the more heartbreaking to part with.
Good luck with the sale man, i know if i had £13k I'd be round yours now virtually ripping your arm for this!

Appreciate the comments and support guys, which makes it worse to part with. But the car i got lined up is something i wanted for a long time, but need to raise the funds quickly to put my own spin on things on the engine bay. Only reason i'm selling the RS....nothing else would make me do it otherwise!

Without a doubt, by the sound of it there's nowt much left to do except tarting it up a bit all round. Happy enough to do that, its a right investment...despite the fact I'd never get rid of it!
Come on people, someone must be after a decent example
