Default whos managed to blow a quaife or gripper diff?

i will be needing a good diff in the near future so i'd like to know what people think?

the lads down my way rate the quaife for strength...

Even with a gripper or quaife you still use the original crown wheel and pinion, so there is still a weak link if these arent in good condition to start with.

i managed to blow 2 gripper units in the escort.but these where the 7 inch ones,
the 7 1/2 was indestructable.

ATBs have a lifetime warranty. Apparently on the very rare occasions they've had them returned it's been because a component connected to the diff has bust and damaged part of the diff. Michael Quaife proudly informed me that they've never had one failure.
