spent yesterday decorating the hall, stairs and landing, after trying various tester pots, (she had decicded she wanted grey) she chose a colour, I asked if it was maybe not too blue, she said it was fine, went to B&Q bought the paint, came home and put it on the walls, she came home from work and guess what?

Its too blue!!

so will be gong back to B&Q to choose a colour myself, what I find even more annoying is that we did exactly the same with the lounge/dinning room

 

You should have learnt the first time - let her do it

 

tell her to ram it, not a chance id be painting it again!

Ye get her to do it, she'll soon learn to pic the right colour first time

 

Tell her you'll do it......after you've buried her under the patio

Then go to the pub.

My wife does exactly the same.....I have got into the habit of making her do a tester patch and leave it up for a week before we go any further........

Yeah man they suck. It seems all they wana do is constantly decorate to keep up with the jones'.

women never cease to amaze me, was out for a mates birthday last night and one of the birds that was with him was proper thick, we got talking about Romanians, and no word of a lie the next thing to come out her mouth was "where do Romanians come from" me and a couple of people just started to piss ourselves laughing, funniest thing i heard in ages, shev wasn't even a looker so didn't have much going for her

can't tar them all with the same brush though cos there was also a very intelligent bird there so horses for corses and all that.

My misses wanted a particular cream, so after 100 quid on paint and it looking shite - we bought magnolia for Ł10 as I suggested in the first place and it was perfect.

I did that, the tester didnt look blue apparently

i was fully expecting it, so I only boshed it on with the roller and didnt bother cutting in round the edges

 

my missus has recently decorated our little boys room, originally she went for a pale blue tester...

next thing its painted an off white lol as she thought there would be too much blue etc with the curtains and that.

anyway, she wanted to decorate it, i left her to it lol and the paint IS a bit light lol, oh well its on the walls now and she chose it...

 

as nice as the BM is I am starting to miss the feeling that I might die at any point, like you got with the cossie, I have heard that Toyo 888's arnt very good in the wet, so maybe that will liven things up a bit

 

I came home once to a bright yellow bathroom and a bright orange bedroom you needed sun glasses
no point in saying anything they only get upset
