I was looking on the net for information on stretched tyres on rim as i want to buy some rims that are 8.5 wide but i have just got some new team dynamics 1.2s which are 7.5.so was going to change the tyres over.. went to i well known tyre fitter. they said that i would not pass an mot?(what am i to know) thought i would look deeper in to it and found this..... hope it is as much help to any one else as it was to me LMFAOhttp://www.ukpoliceonline.co.uk/inde...ic=24937&st=20 O and i will be buying the new alloys and after speaking to toyo will be fitting 195 45 r16 on to my new 8.5's

 

just buy tyres that fit the rims ffs.

i had a look at some piccies cos i wondered what stretched tyres where and lol, they aren't that pretty really, well they just look wrong imo, whats wrong with fitting nice fat tyres on your rims wouldn't that give you more traction, instead of looking funny and i'd honestly have to agree they do look slightly dangerous but what ever floats your boat i guess.
