Im soon to be signed off my NVQ3 advanced Apprenticeship. Was wondering what sort of money i could be earning? Thanks.

 

Im in the same predicament as you, but decided to go to uni, start in sep, Motorsport engineering

 

Klkl how long is the course at uni?

 

I have got 3 years to go long but will be worth it.
I originally began my apprenticeship with Mercedes but decided to take things further.
The pay was crap also. lol

 

Hgv mechanics can make 30< 50 k depending who you work for and what part of uk you are in

I would like to get into F1 or rallye, as a race engineer or chassis and powertrain engineer but I will see where Uni takes me.
This year, I will studying racing vehicle design, aerodynamics, chassis, powertrain, suspension, tyre dynamics, lap time simulation and racing engine design. Thermo Fluid Dynamics lots more to come.

It will be a busy 3 years I can assure you.

 

you going to uclan? i was going to do that course this year, i just finished my level 3 IMI mechanics course, not doing now because me and my uncle have started a business but i am definetly going to start it within the next 3 years
