Thinking or buying my self one for a summer toy

 

heres my road legal raptor 700r....i do use it off road alot though...cos it more fun....

1st three are when i bought it last year

with road wheels & lowered 2"



with standard rims...

only bad thing is insurane Ł350 full comp & tax is Ł125 a year...total fucking rip off!!!!

 

How much did that one cost to buy Robs ??

Been fancying one myself, road tax is a bit hefty aint it

 

i paid Ł4500 last october off ebay...its 07 plate and had looney tuned twin pipes, K&n, power commander. nerf bars, lowering kit, wheel spacers and brand new road wheels & tyres thrown in.... plus all the original stuff....4months tax and a helmet thrown in so good buy really.....

yea tax is a sore point with quads at mo.... apparently they aint got there own tax group so classed in with kit cars i think....

there few on ebay now for same sort money....

yea mate 1st one.... took a while get use to it but love it now...have more fun off road than on tbh....

picked a raptor because there popular, easy get parts for, reliable, and one best looking ones tbh....

all my other mates run polaris outlaws... 500 or 525cc with indepndant rear suspension...awesome off road and more comfy but they look pants... and they seem
have more problems than me... clutches, cracked palstics, etc...

 

I would love on of these quads.
