If its muscle strain then work through it, do more exercise, best way to strengthen the muscle.
If its ligament strain advise rest

each to their own tho

You could tell by the amount of pain, if its a ligament youl know about it, and you wouldnt be able to walk very well or move the foot up and down. But i suspect itl just be a muscle tear.

depends how bad it is, can you walk ok with it?? does it feel like a torn muscle/sprain??

i hope your leg doesnt end up like mine-tightens up really easily until i stop moving, then all the pain drains away.think mine is the achiles tendon........
