New Car : Suggestions.
Hey guys, since i sold my erst a few months back iv been driving around in a renault kangoo van, im bored of this already and am starting to look at getting a new motor, i have about 8k to spend on one, i have been looking at a few Turbo Diesel's like Bmw 1 series, Audi a3 tdi and a Leon Cupra tdi anyone have any experiences of these cars. Im also thinking of a Focus rs could i get a decent one for 8k. any info on these cars would be appreciated.
Depends what you want from it, a mile muncher or comfort or something a bit raw and fun to drive??
I have an A3 on 55 plate admittedly it's the 2.0l t s-line, nice car, but pretty refined so not eactly a driving machine. Had a Civic Type R, great car, bit dated inside now and you have to drive it hard so can be a little raw, but very very reliable, near bullet proof.
Focus RS - decent for 8k, well, you may strike lucky, most seem to be priced at 9k, so you may need to edge towards that to open up your choice on them. I have not driven one, but seems a good package to me at that money.
Looks good
plenty of go
good level of excitment in the drive
would imagine they are fine as a daily driver - but thristy?
will retain decent levels of value as they get rarer if looked after.
Does come down to how you need to use your car and what you want from it.
