mk4 2l zetec

just put 2l in a 1.4l escort estate runs great but when hot smeems like its starving from fuel
ive put the pump up front should i put xr3i fuel tank on and pump at rear also can i run it without thermastat in and do i need a fuel reg as can smell fuel on tick over.

should have a fuel reg on the injector rail as std, i have 2.0l in mk4 so pm me for info
