4x4 front door central locking, which wires do what?

Seems to be loads of wires going to my central locking, i think there's about 6 coming from the lock, do i only need 2 connected????? The car doesn't have an alarm and I'm tring to connect it to a 2WD car loom.

Depends which locks, ie front or rear, the fronts will be masters so may well have switches in them so extra wires, slave motors can work with just two normally on rear.
