Default Twin Fans

Im running twin fans on my front mount and they keep popping the fuse!

its a 30 fuse. would it be ok to use a larger fuse?

ya would be better off making a new circuit for it with a relay, it it dont pop the fuse, it would probably melt the fuse ,box and loom!

I would personally sooner relay them seperately and use 2 single 30a circuits than run any more current than that for 1 wire.

You'll probably find it's popping the fuse for a reason! Could have a short in there somwhere. New circuit relay'd off is the answer!

Can i rewire a relay between the fans and the fan sender? Or should i Just put a switch in?

Yes you can put a relay on the fan sender, if you do then you can also put a switch into that as well, so that you can manually override it if you wish.

It just I want the fans to kick as they would normally, but then have the option of switching em on if i get stuck in traffic etc..

Im just struggling to get my head round how to wire it!


does anyone know how this could be done? diagrams would be sweet
