Is the front anti roll bar on a Sapphire 2wd, 3 door and XR4i all the same ??

 

Later 3 doors and the saff are the same - not sure about the XR4i - am sure its been discussed here before somewhere so might be worth a search?

 

xr4i is smaller diametre.
The original 3 door front arb is the best imo, gives very twitchy steering, and the 3 door hubs are best.
A lot of owners had the arb changed under warranty by ford after complaints about instability, they basically increased the castor with the modded arb's whichlater were std sapph 2wd ones, same diametre 28mm.

Early 3door one is stamped H13 and later type on 3-dr/Sapphire that gives a degree more caster is stamped H14.

XR4i one is 26mm front IIRC and a 10mm rear, Cosworth front is 28mm
