Was thinking this the other day, out of all the cossies made, 3 door/RWD Saph/4x4 Saph/Escort (big and small turbo if you want to break that number down too??)
I would hedge a bet on 4x4 saph's as they're common as muck and the price usually reflects supply.

 

I also think it`s 4x4 saphire. I have this production numbers some place

 

i actually think it was the 2wd sapphire but i might be wrong. I do know that there was over 15k 2wd cars made.
