What intake temps are people seeing at this time of year?
On boost, when driven fairly hard, what are you getting up to for intake temps?
46 on my nova, which seems not too bad, I know its higher than ideal, but I dont consider it a big issue either, charge coolers typically struggle to get quite as low as FMICs so I expected similar as obviously the water will always be above ambient so the core in the charge cooler always will be too.
Whats everyone else getting and how do you feel about it?

I never really had any issues with my chargecooler back in the day.
Suppose all I am saying is that I wouldn't see the fact I had a chargecooler rather than a front mount as a reason my on boost charge temps would be higher.

Thats just cruising, im talking about when under FULL load, so if you have 325bhp then I mean while you are using 325bhp, not using 60bhp to cruise along the motorway off boost.
Mine stays within a couple of degrees of ambient when just cruising, so typically under 20 of an evening.

35ish maybe just over....depends if i'm on the motorway and have been doing a constant 70..... then boot it....
if i ve been sat in traffic and then boot it... quite a bit more with the heat soak! feels and drives fine... no miss fires

30s is roughly what I tend to get on the sierra, with an rs500 cooler, pretty good setup that really, to only be about 10-20 degrees above ambient when running a couple of bar of boost!
On the nova after really beating its face in hard its mental the difference between the metal hardpipe before the cooler and after it, the one after doesnt get as warm as skin temperature but the one before it you can barely touch its so hot!
